The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator to provide Microsoft SQL Server database administration support to developers and application support personnel at the Chancellor's Office (CO). Tasks include conceptualizing, developing, and implementing complex database, application, and integration capabilities. Additional expectations include performing tasks related to security, administration, tuning and monitoring, backup and restoration, creation of data exchange and interchange mechanisms such as Boomi, SSIS and DTS packages, SQL and SQL Reporting support, data modeling and normalization. This position will ensure that all in-house and third-party applications that are dependent on Microsoft SQL Server at the CO continue to demonstrate high levels of performance and reliability.
