    • Temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position available in the Psychology department - Stockton Campus.


    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after June 3, 2024 and ending on or before August 29, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with ongoing research and supervise undergraduate student assistants and students in research apprentice positions.
      • Assist with data entry, analysis of assessment results, conducting literature reviews of scholarly research, and giving informal/formal presentations of the research.
      • Assist staff, as needed, with ongoing services including designing bulletin boards, creating research materials, revising program materials, organizing equipment, and/or observing classes.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications













    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Graduate studies in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field and is pursuing a career in human services.
      • Experience with supervision and management.
      • Experience with quantitative or qualitative research in a classroom or field setting.
      • Ability to use programs like Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Qualtrics.
      • Demonstrates respect and compassion for CalWORKs participants, collaborators, and colleagues.
      • Is dependable and follows through on assignments. Requests and is receptive to feedback.
      • Works well in groups.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units. 
    • Salary Range


    • $18.50 - 20.00 per hour. Salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful finalist(s).
