
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Resources and Operations, the Business Graduate Programs Analyst receiving work lead direction from the Associate Dean. This incumbent will performs duties under general supervision and works independently to achieve specified outcomes.
The Business Graduate Programs Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the department office, maintains data and records, and provides information to students concerning all Lucas Graduate School of Business Programs, including degree requirements and coordinates projects. They are responsible for the coordination of the MS Accounting & Analytics (MSAA), MS in Transportation Management (MSTM), Open University programs and all advanced certificates. It includes student-facing responsibilities, including monitoring student enrollment, course registration, academic standing, degree candidacy, curriculum requirements, and students' continued eligibility to progress in the graduate degree programs. Interacts regularly with faculty, Graduate Studies and Research, Registrar, Financial Aid, ISSS, Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations, and Career Services to ensure timely and accurate program administration and student support. Coordinates course scheduling and room assignments for regular (MSAA) and PACE program (Tax Certificate, MSTM) programs. Coordinates and reconciles faculty course assignments with Special Session salary compensation. Supports the design and execution of various student/alumni surveys to determine program student satisfaction and facilitate rankings-related data collection. Collects, analyzes, and reports on data related to student enrollment and program evaluation, compiles enrollment projections, recommends improvements in quality and service. Generates program-related materials for quarterly program website updates.
Establishes and maintains a comprehensive system of communicating, disseminating and documenting College, and University requirements, policies, and procedures to admitted and enrolled students to support yield rates, persistence and student success.
Performs back-up duties for basic changes to the Lucas School website and communications via Social Media platforms. Serves as back-up for procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors student enrollment from admitted status through graduation, including corresponding with students who are no shows or break enrollment.
- Provides enrollment projection data to LCoB Resource Team.
- Oversees and coordinates course registration, academic standing, degree candidacy, compliance with foundation and curriculum requirements, and students' continued eligibility to progress in a degree program.
- Plans and implements registration and tracking procedures for Open University students.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive system of communicating, disseminating and documenting College, and University requirements, policies, and procedures to admitted and enrolled students using multiple mediums - literature, web, and email.
- Contributes to the planning and implementation of the new student orientations, materials, and agenda for the MSTM and MSAA programs.
- Confers with Associate Dean, Program Coordinator and appropriate campus offices to review policy and practices and makes recommendations.
- Oversees and coordinates applications, admission, registration and graduation for business advanced certificates except certificates in transportation management.
- Drafts program-related content for quarterly program website updates.
- Contributes to AACSB reporting efforts following guidance from the Associate Dean for Faculty, Research, & Accreditation
- Contributes to graduate ranking surveys under direction of and Assistant Director of Marketing & Admission for Lucas Graduate Programs and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate & Graduate Programs.
- Maintains and updates student program records and files.
- Interfaces with ISSS and program directors to complete CPT requests.
- Consults Lucas College of Business (LCoB) departments to secure faculty availability for graduate course offerings.
- Insures viability of course schedule each term to include, number of contact hours for each course and Saturday assignments for PACE programs special session.
- Enters scheduling data into Peoplesoft and OnBase for regular session and PACE programs.
- Posts accurate and timely schedules and room assignments to Peoplesoft for all regular and special session courses.
- Posts of greensheet (syllabi) on the Lucas Canvas platform and/or website and maintenance of the Canvas shell for MSA/MST students.
- Alerts University Registrar on PACE programs special session monthly timing for grade sheet entry.
- Completes the documents to hire new faculty teaching in the MST program.
- Consults with LCoB departments to determine faculty load each term.
- Prepares faculty PACE programs special session appointment contracts and paperwork for compensation.
- Maintains the SVE and SVEP Canvas shells each term by adding new students and removing graduated students.
- Adds new students and removes graduated students from the SVE and SVEP Canvas shells each term
- Models, analyses, and suggests efficiency improvements to graduate program processes

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies.

- General awareness of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), and a willingness to develop skills in their appropriate, responsible, and ethical use in a higher education environment, consistent with institutional policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training.
- Administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Administrative and/or office experience in a higher education.
- Demonstrated high level experience providing customer service.
- Experience with electronic signature (e-signature) and digital transaction management platforms.
Compensation
Classification: Administrative Analyst/Specialist – Non-Exempt
Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,195/month - $5,736/month (Step 5 – Step 10)
CSU Salary Range: $4,799/month - $6,992/month (Step 1 – Step 20)
