Overview:
Primary function of the position is to assist with evaluation and assessment of the Strengthening Equitable Culturally Responsive Environments” (SECURE) for Student Success project. Primary functions include leading tasks associated with evaluation and assessment components with specific tasks focused on the annual performance report and compliance/report production and submission.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Report production and performance measure assessment, including drafting, writing, revising, assembly, and submission.
- Multi-site collaboration and coordination for ongoing empirical research studies and contribute to collaborative project teamwork.
- Perform literature reviews and developing annotated bibliographies, preparing interview protocols, consent forms, and research invitations.
- Facilitate focus groups and/or leading personal interview sessions and transcribe interview recordings and preparing data for analysis.
- Thematically analyze transcribed interview and visual data and summarize results of data analysis Conduct descriptive statistical analysis and present in summary form.
- Communicate via email and responding to emails relating to research Attend project meetings and taking meeting notes
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience with large-scale, federally funded project evaluations and U.S. Department of Education compliance and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of engineering and/or computer science principles and concepts.
- Experience in social and behavioral science data collection and analysis (quantitative and qualitative), including experience with conducting personal and group interviews and transcribing digital audio recordings and experience with qualitative data analysis (coding, segmenting, networking, and thematizing).
- Experience with data collection and analysis technology, including web-based survey platforms, computer-aided qualitative data analysis software, statistical packages, and video conference software.
- Experience with presenting results of data analysis, including experience with communicating with research participants and responding to research participant questions.
- Possession of a graduate degree in social or behavioral sciences or education.

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).
The anticipated hiring range: $23.21 - $42.00 per hour
Time Base: Part-Time
