The incumbent will compile data, interpret and analyze the facts, and provide written notices and investigation reports in a thorough and timely manner. This position requires employing dispute resolution, mediation, and problem-solving techniques to resolve issues on an informal basis consistent with the applicable CSU Policy. The incumbent will provide leadership for programming and education to prevent sexual misconduct and hostile environment issues, and serve on multidisciplinary committees that serve campus constituents. This role may be required to provide testimony regarding cases to outside agencies, provide advice and guidance to campus constituents, and interact with the CSU Office of the Chancellor, General Counsel, Civil Rights Attorney, Systemwide Director, Administrators, and colleagues at campuses within the CSU System. The Senior Investigator works independently and as a member of the Civil Rights Office team.
