The anticipated hiring range for this position is $6,492 - $6,755per month.

The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems, the Technical Business Analyst serves as a cross-functional member of the Application Development team, providing functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and related enterprise systems. The position supports system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and ongoing operations while partnering with campus stakeholders to ensure application and data integrity. This growth-oriented role offers opportunities to expand expertise in enterprise systems administration, development, automation, integrations, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, contributing to innovative solutions that support the University's evolving business needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and related enterprise modules (HCM, CFS) and third-party systems including, but not limited to, OnBase, EAB, and ModoLabs.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, perform functional fit/gap analysis, and design, configure, document, and coordinate new and improved functionality in Campus Solutions and integrated systems.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, break fixes, and technical and functional support for Campus Solutions, including expert level support for IT service tickets.
  • Coordinate system wide Oracle and CO/CMS releases, upgrades, patches, and bundles with all relevant departments, including testing, training, and documentation.
  • Participate in development efforts to design, configure, develop, test, and deploy custom API integrations between PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance integrations, web and mobile components, and portal applications across the enterprise landscape.
  • Write expert, advanced reports and complex queries, and perform data integration, reporting, and analysis at the enterprise level.
  • Evaluate AI enabled features within PeopleSoft, Oracle, and third party platforms and advise on responsible, secure, and compliant adoption.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, share knowledge with the team, and champion continuous learning and innovation.
  • Apply AI tools in alignment with University data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
  • Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and related enterprise applications, including system configuration, business processes, integrations, reporting, and data management.
  • Skill in analyzing business requirements, conducting fit/gap analyses, and translating user needs into effective technical and functional solutions.
  • Ability to configure, support, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise applications and integrated systems in a complex higher education environment.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining reports, queries, APIs, data integrations, and automated processes.
  • Ability to coordinate system upgrades, patches, testing, documentation, training, and change management activities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data governance, information security, privacy, and compliance principles applicable to enterprise systems.
  • Skill in communicating and collaborating effectively with technical teams, functional users, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and recommend innovative, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, problem-solving, customer service, and process improvement. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in higher education.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, HCM, or CFS.
  • Exposure to system administration, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages and API or integration development.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools, machine learning, or process automation, and an interest in applying them responsibly to enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated willingness to explore new technologies and grow across support, administration, and development functions.
