The Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University invites applications for part-time lecturer positions (non-tenure track) in Business Communications for Fall 2025 - Spring 2026.
The Business Communications group is responsible for teaching the core business communications class for all Bachelor of Science of Business Administration students, along with an Area E and an upper-division elective. The core class satisfies the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement and is a writing-intensive course. In all three classes, students focus on a variety of types of professional communication as well as on their own growth as business professionals.

• A current Curriculum Vitae (including details of current and previous teaching experience: date of teaching, institution, class-size)
• The names, addresses, phone-numbers and emails of two professional references who are in a position to comment on the applicant’s current or previous teaching experience.

Salary:
Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month
Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank.
