Job Summary

  • Review and process all department travel requests and travel claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university and NCAA rules and regulations (State and Corporation/Foundation).  This includes recruiting claims (on-campus visits and off-campus travel), team travel and administrative travel. 
  • Review and process all department vendor payment requests.  Research and resolve inquiries from end-users, accounts payable and vendors regarding payment status and documentation.
  • Oversee department purchase cards program. Including monthly reconciling, ordering cards for new employees and training on acceptable card usage.
  • Monitor and reconcile monthly on-campus charge-backs to ensure charges are accurate and appropriate.
  • Prepare and deposit various checks and cash via the State Cashier’s Office.
  • Process deposits including gifts, gifts-in-kind, and income on behalf of Athletic Advancement and individual sports via campus gift processing.

Education and Experience

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. Three years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Salary:

Anticipated Hiring Range:  $26.53 - $29.18 per hour

Classification Range: $26.53 - $47.99  per hour

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
