Can I obtain a list of job openings within the CSU?

Yes, you can conduct a search of available positions for all 23 campuses on using the search option on the CSU Careers site.

The CSU Careers website is only for jobs within the CSU. You can contact the Career Services office at any of the 23 CSU campuses to get the information on where to post positions on their campus. What is the salary range for staff and management positions?

Salary ranges vary, and are based on a position's classification and the pay range established for each classification.

What is the salary range for tenure track or temporary faculty positions?

Salaries are determined by the salary pay ranges established for each academic rank. Starting salaries vary by campus, and individual offers will depend on the education, experience, and qualifications of candidates, and can vary substantially by academic discipline.

New aggregated faculty salary information is published annually in the Report on Faculty Recruitment and Retention Survey. This report includes information on average salaries by campus and by academic discipline as well as by rank.

Are citizens of a country other than the United States eligible to work for the CSU?

Offers of employment are contingent upon the presentation of documents that demonstrate a person's identity and authorization to work, which are consistent with the provisions of the Immigration Reform and Control Act.
