The Practicum Liaison position is a temporary, twelve-month, full-time lecturer appointment reporting to the Practicum Director. The Department of Social Work seeks a temporary Full-Time Practicum Liaison/Lecturer to support our new Extended MSW program for working professionals. The Extended MSW program is in its second year of operation and offers courses that are mostly online on weekday evenings, with monthly in-person class sessions. The Practicum Liaison position is a temporary, twelve-month, full-time lecturer appointment reporting to the Practicum Director. The Practicum Liaison is expected to: teach practicum classes, work with agency supervisors to maintain and develop practicum placements within the social work community; and manage and supervise students conducting practicum work for all MSW students.

The incumbent represents the CSU on various intersegmental committees and task forces at the statewide level. The incumbent will work collaboratively with cross-divisional managers and committees including Financial Aid Directors, Financial Aid and Scholarships teams, Directors of Outreach, CMS managers and staff, Directors of Admissions and Records (DAR), State University Registrars (SUR), Extended Education, Cal State Online, and institutional research directors.
