This position will coordinate operations for the WellNest including food pantry appointments, operational procedures for food storage, food distribution, providing health resources, and cooking demonstrations.
The Health Educator regularly collaborates with university committees to implement strategic initiatives to address the wellbeing needs of students. This position is responsible to assess, design, implement, and evaluate wellbeing programs. Additionally, the Health Educator regularly conducts workshops and outreach events promoting campus resources, as well as implements wellbeing messaging through social marketing approaches. The Health Educator inform wellbeing issues pertinent to a university setting including but not limited to Basic Needs - food & housing security, Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drugs (ATOD), Cold/Flu, Nutrition/Fitness, Self-Care, Sexual Health, and Violence Prevention. This position provides guidance for wellbeing campaigns, programs and services offered within the WellNest and Wellness Center. The Health Educator also works closely with campus partners to support promotion of wellness services and leadership development for student assistants. |

| The California Arts Project (TCAP) is one of nine disciplinary professional learning networks under the California Subject Matter Project (CSMP). The following RIMS California Arts Project position description reflects the Regional/Site Director position across CSMP. The description also details responsibilities that are specific to TCAP and RIMS California Arts Project.
CSU San Bernardino is RIMS CAP’s host campus, College of Arts and Letters, Department of Theatre Arts. RIMS CAP serves the following counties: Riverside, Inyo, Mono, San Bernardino, Kern, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and portions of Los Angeles County North of the 91 Fwy. RIMS CAP has dedicated campus office space to conduct the site’s work and administration and enable campus connections. RIMS CAP’s fiscal aspects are facilitated through UEC at CSUSB.
RIMS CAP’s Regional Director has the responsibility to oversee the operational, administrative, fiscal, and programmatic work of the regional site and office. The
Regional Director develops and sustains a regional network of TCAP Teacher Leaders.
Additionally, the Regional Director leverages additional funding to support the site's
programs, guides the evaluation of site programs, and creates the yearly application's Scope of Work and budget, aligned with CSMP and TCAP Goals. The Regional Director serves on the leadership team of The California Arts Project Network. |
