Senior Director, Global Programs and Services (APPLY VIA SEARCH FIRM) San José
Reporting to the Executive Director, Belonging and Engagement Strategies, the Senior Director for Global Programs and Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) and Study Abroad and Away (SAA). The Senior Director oversees a broad portfolio serving more than 3,000 international students and scholars, including matriculated students, study abroad students, and visiting scholars. The Senior Director is responsible for setting the long-term vision, direction and operational priorities for global programs that support student success and equity, while ensuring alignment with the university’s broader internationalization strategy. In partnership with academic and external stakeholders, the Senior Director advances the university’s internationalization strategy by translating institutional goals into actionable, inclusive practices that integrate global engagement across academic and co-curricular pathways. This position strengthens the academic and co-curricular experience of international students and expands global and domestic exchange opportunities. Working closely with the AVP for Student Equity and Belonging/Senior International Officer, this role aligns global initiatives with student success, workforce readiness, and community impact. The Senior Director designs and implements high-impact global learning opportunities that expand access and mobility for all students, with a focus on historically underserved and underrepresented populations. This includes embedding equitable practices across programs and services, addressing barriers to participation, and fostering an inclusive campus environment where all students can engage meaningfully in global experiences.

Academic Advisor II, MESA (Mathematics, Engineering & Science Achievement Program) Sacramento
The College of Engineering & Computer Science (ECS) Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) Office serves under-represented, low-income students in the college of ECS by advising and guiding students, coordinating program activities, fostering a sense of community, and collaborating with College leadership, faculty, and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Under general supervision of Director of MESA Office, the Academic Advisor II provides support to ECS students on program curriculum and course selection for the major, as well as on General Education and graduation requirements. The Academic Advisor II engages in a developmental process that helps clarify and implement individual educational plans consistent with their skills, interests, and values. The incumbent needs to be sensitive to the needs of the diverse and underserved student population and aims to create a supportive environment that empowers students to excel in their studies and make the most of their college experience.
Operating Engineer Chico
The Operating Engineer is primarily responsible for the operation and maintenance of stationary equipment, boilers (gas and/or oil), chiller systems and other mechanical equipment used to provide campus utilities. Working independently, under general supervision, the Operating Engineer performs day-to-day operations for the Boiler Chiller Plant, and assists with the operation of building equipment and automated energy management systems to control HVAC. Incumbent will monitor and adjust mechanical and computerized controls to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, and maintain daily logs of operation including maintenance work, test results, instrument readings, details of equipment malfunctions and energy consumption for conservation analysis. Responsibilities include identifying malfunctions, testing water quality, and taking necessary corrective action. Incumbent will also perform miscellaneous field duties, including maintenance and repair of underground and auxiliary equipment. This position works under direct supervision of the Supervising Building Services Engineer and general supervision of the Manager of Engineering Trades/Chief Engineer. Operating Engineers work shifts, day, swing, and/or graveyard, including weekends, providing continuous twenty-four-hour coverage, seven days per week. This position is Night Shift, Saturday through Wednesday, 10 pm to 6 am.
