Working independently, under general supervision of the Manager of Customer Support, the Facilities Reservations Coordinator performs a full range of complex clerical and administrative support coordinator duties for the Facilities Reservations and Event Services (FRES) program, specifically, and Facilities Management & Services (FMS) in general. This role facilitates reservations of conference, meeting, lecture, athletic, and specialty space throughout campus, and maintains high customer service standards. This position works with on-campus and community clients to facilitate reservations which may include creating and providing facility use quotes, fulfilling special equipment/service requests, initiating billing/ invoice processes and communicating with all university departments impacted by room usage. Incumbent is required to become proficient with campus scheduling software, such as Ad Astra, TMA (CMMS), and other University business and facility software systems. Work is supervised in terms of overall accomplishments.
FMS is a large, complex department consisting of approximately 150+/- employees working various shifts and providing diverse administrative and operational services campus-wide. |
