Executive Assistant to the VPBFA & Coordinator for Strategic Initiatives Channel Islands

The Elder in Residence (Elder) is an important element of the overall counseling program of the Esak’timá Native Student Resource Center. The Elder will meet weekly with students, both individually and in small groups, to determine specific student needs and how those needs might be met. In addition, the Elder will meet with representatives of the nine local Tribal Nations to ensure that the Center programming is responsive to student needs. The Elder also assists Center staff with coordination of events, facilitate Talking Circle and Cultural Workshops.

Under direct supervision, the Custodian provides a wide range of cleaning and custodial care of an assigned area.
