Reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement and Accounts Payable, the Director of Travel and Expense provides leadership and operational oversight for travel and expense functions across the San Francisco Bay Region Network (SFBRN), serving California State University, East Bay, San Francisco State University, and Sonoma State University. The Director manages the Travel and Expense team and oversees the full lifecycle of travel and expense activities, including travel requests, expense reports, employee reimbursements, procurement card transactions, hospitality reviews, and compliance monitoring. The Director is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and policy-compliant processing of travel and expense transactions while driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and enhancing operational efficiency.
