University Diversity Officer (Administrator III) Chico
The University Diversity Officer (UDO) reports to the President and serves on the President’s Cabinet. The UDO advises senior leadership on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and leads the University’s EDI strategy, initiatives, and assessment efforts to foster a campus where all members feel a sense of belonging and support. In collaboration with Cabinet and units across campus, the UDO advances institutional EDI priorities. The role partners with vice presidents and divisions to design, implement, and evaluate effective initiatives, while modeling inclusive leadership through visible engagement, active participation, and a strong campus presence. The UDO leads the University Diversity Council and coordinates campus-wide efforts to expand pathways to success for students, faculty, and staff—particularly those from historically underserved populations. The UDO also assesses institutional progress and recommends strategies for continuous improvement. Additionally, the UDO serves as the campus point of contact for immigration matters, including verification of enforcement documents, and as liaison for Time, Place, and Manner policy. The UDO also fulfills the NCAA Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (ADID) role, coordinating communication among the NCAA, athletics, conference leadership, and campus on inclusion efforts and emerging issues. Manager, Administrative Services East Bay
This position reports to the Director of Student Health Services and is part of the Enrollment Management & Student Affairs Division. The Associate Director performs duties under limited supervision including supervising all department administrative staff and clinic schedules; day-to-day department operations; and overseeing department budget management/ reconciliation and collaborative budgetary decisions regarding the Student Health facility. In conjunction with the Director, the incumbent ensures a high level of customer engagement and maximum utilization of department services. The Associate Director assists with the development of campus and external communications and other related activities and also provides indirect oversight for the department medical services staff members as needed. The incumbent will perform crisis intervention and consultation in the event of an emergency and participates in on-call emergency response and preparedness as needed.
