***CURRENT CSU SYSTEM-WIDE APPLICANTS ONLY*** Working under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Recruitment & Communications and work direction of the Lead Admissions Counselor, the incumbent performs moderately complex professional student service work, applying both knowledge and judgment to accomplish tasks. This position requires late night, early morning, and weekend commitments as situations necessitate, and overnight travel. The ACTI is responsible for performing routine outreach and recruitment activities within a recruitment territory (the boundaries of which may change over time due to demographic changes and strategic shifts) in which they cultivate relationships with prospective students and schools to meet new student enrollment goals. For the purposes of this position description, prospective students are those being recruited to or having applied to attend Chico State for a current or future term who have not yet started classes.
