Interim Dean for the School of Education Channel Islands
The Interim Dean of the School of Education serves as the temporary educational leader and chief administrator of the faculty and staff in the School of Education under the supervision of the Provost. The Interim Dean provides leadership and administrative oversight over the School of Education, designed to collaboratively support student learning, academic success, and innovative educational practices in teacher preparation and educational leadership programs. The Interim Dean of the School of Education provides administrative and financial management of resources and advocates for the academic programs and services within the School. The Interim Dean of the School of Education has supervisory responsibility for administrators, faculty, and staff in the School of Education. In collaboration with these colleagues, the Interim Dean oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures and the management of academic programs, partnerships, and related initiatives. The Interim Dean is responsible for promoting a learning environment that focuses on student success and enhancing the educational experience. The Interim Dean works with leadership across the School of Education, Division of Academic Affairs, and University to collaborate with various academic and co-curricular units, lead program planning and new initiatives, and promotes the School’s programs and services locally, regionally, and nationally.
Employer Recruitment & Programs Coordinator Long Beach
Under the supervision of the Director, Career Development Center and led by the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement, the Employer Recruitment and Program Coordinator will act in a lead role in coordinating, planning, and executing a variety of activities and events that engage students with the employment community. They will build partnerships between the university and external communities (business, the public sector, and not-for-profit entities) emphasizing development and marketing to expand part-time, career and internship employment opportunities for students. In consultation with employers manage and expand recruitment job listings, and events available to students in CareerLINK.
