Administrative Support - PrePping the Bay Program (Temporary/Part-Time) East Bay
The purpose of the PrePping the Bay Program (PTB) within the Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) is to support PrEP navigation services for Cal State East Bay students with the goal of increasing PrEP and PEP initiation and retention amongst students with perceived increased risk for HIV infection. In doing so, this position will assist in the students' optimal state of overall health to support them in achieving their academic and career goals. Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Health Services and the Nurse Lead or other designee, the Administrative Support Assistant performs administrative support duties including but not limited to personnel, payroll, accounting, and procurement processes, electronic health records maintenance, and various other duties to assist with the needs of the PrEPping the Bay program and Student Health and Counseling Services. This is a grant funded, temporary and part-time (20 hours per week) position through June 30, 2025 with the possibility of reappointment.

Student Support Coordinator (SSP II) Sacramento
The Student Support Coordinator helps support students through all aspects of their program, from application, registration, academic and career advising, and degree completion. The incumbent will support programs in the Office of Undergraduate Studies (UGS), with a primary focus on the GE Honors Program. In addition, they support aspects of program administration as assigned, such as program event planning, processing applications and recruitment/off-campus visits, scheduling courses, advising students and student groups, website and social media maintenance, giving presentations and workshops related to student success, and hiring and supervision of student assistants. The person in this position uses generally accepted advising skills to support individual students, administer to program processes, and to develop new approaches to meet specific program needs.
Assistant Area Coordinator - Temporary Live-In Position East Bay
Employed by the Department of University Housing and Residence Life (UHRL), the Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC) is a full-time, temporary live-in position. The AAC at Cal State East Bay is expected to initiate “high-touch” front-line interaction with students as they develop formal and informal relationships. They are expected to build communities that focus on student learning and development, supporting student needs, and inclusivity for all students. The AAC will support and work with their supervisor and team leader(s) in managing the functions of their assigned residential area. This role will not conform to a standard 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM work day, rather it requires the individual to work evenings and weekends in order to best meet the needs of the community. This is a full-time, temporary live-in position through November 1, 2025 with the possibility of reappointment not to exceed three (3) years from date of hire.

Project IMPACT (Trio Grant) - Program Coordinator (Temporary) East Bay
Under the general direction of the Director, the Project IMPACT Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring all mandated services under the program, as well as providing direct service support to students for non-mandated services. The Program Coordinator will be required to monitor the budget and ensure all program activities remain within grant-mandated limits; ensure all policies and procedures are followed as outlined in Federal, State and University guidelines in daily operations and decisions; conduct workshops in the areas of academic skills building, personal finance, financial aid, wellness, and assistive technology as mandated by the approved grant; and maintain all data, records and reports required by the grant program, including the Annual Performance Report, Annual Student Survey, and Graduation/Retention reports. The Residence Conduct Coordinator (RCC) staff are responsible for the daily functions of a student conduct curriculum and policy accountability. RCCs will meet with students who have violated a University Housing policy outlined in the "University Housing Policy Guide." Day-to-day work is performed independently, however incumbent also serves as a member of the Residence Life team comprised of the Associate Director for Residence Life, five Residence Conduct Coordinators (RCC), five Residence Life Coordinators (RLC), the Senior Coordinator for Leadership and Development, Senior Coordinator for Conduct and Compliance, and Hub Program Coordinator. CSU, Chico has an on-campus student housing population of 2,400. The RCC's primary responsibility is adjudicating conduct cases; additionally they provide conduct related programming, customer service, resource referrals, and crisis response. Incumbents deal with complex, sensitive situations, and must use sound professional judgment and successful counseling techniques to effectively interact with college students. This position also co-supervises 6-18 Resident Advisors. This is a live-in position that emphasizes student development as well as community management. The Residence Life staff is on-call 24 hours a day, however, actual working time is varied and flexible and opportunity for adequate time off is available. May include late night, early morning, and weekend commitments as situations dictate/require.
