Associate Counselors, under the supervision of the Director of Counseling and their clinical supervisor, provide intake assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term individual and couples counseling to students of the University. They work collaboratively with counseling and medical staff to help students maintain optimum mental and physical health. The Associate Counselor may also provide group counseling and outreach presentations to the campus community in partnership with licensed clinical staff.
This recruitment will be used to establish a pool of candidates for current and future temporary positions. These are temporary, part-time (0.60 time-base) positions through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of reappointment. This appointment cannot exceed 2 years in the position. |
