The Department of Psychology at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in the area of Quantitative Psychology or a closely related field, at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will teach upper-division statistics and research methods courses in our undergraduate program, as well as graduate-level statistics courses in our Clinical Psychology and Psychological Science MA programs. Course topics may include areas of quantitative psychology (e.g., univariate and multivariate statistics, latent variable models) and/or data science (e.g., machine learning and AI, Bayesian methods, predictive analytics). In addition, all faculty members are expected to conduct research in the subdiscipline of their expertise (e.g., quantitative, data science, clinical, social, cognitive, developmental, or diversity science) and involve undergraduate and/or graduate students in their research.
