By fostering informed decision-making and encouraging meaningful engagement with the university community, this role directly contributes to student success, persistence, and timely graduation. The advisor builds strong, supportive relationships with students, serving as both a guide and advocate throughout their academic experience.
Working under general supervision, the advisor is entrusted to exercise sound professional judgment and independent decision-making in addressing student needs. This includes connecting students with appropriate campus resources and support services, ensuring each student is equipped to thrive both academically and personally.
