Subscribing to CSU Careers Search Feeds
Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari each have a different symbol to indicate that a web site offers RSS; click this symbol to subscribe to the feed. Specific instructions for each browser follow.
Internet Explorer
For Internet Explorer versions
Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9 the RSS icon on the main toolbar will change
from grayed-out to orange when the browser is on a web page that
supports RSS. (Note: In Internet Explorer 9, you need to turn on the Command
bar to view the RSS icon: press Alt, then from the
View menu, select Toolbars and turn on the
Command bar). When the icon is orange, click it to go to the
RSS page for that web site. At the top of the page, in the yellow
box, click Subscribe to this feed. The default setting will
save the feed in the "Feeds" section of your Favorites. You should name the feed so you
will remember the search parameters you selected.
To unsubscribe from a feed, near the top of the browser window, click the plain yellow star (with no plus sign).
The Favorites menu will appear. Choose Feeds, and
then right-click the feed you want to remove. Click Delete, and
then click Yes.
Internet Explorer 6 and earlier versions do not have a feed reader built into the browser. Instead, you can
use a standalone RSS aggregator or feed reader, or upgrade to Internet Explorer 8, then follow the
instructions above.

address bar when the browser is on a web page that supports RSS.

bookmark on the Bookmarks Bar.
To unsubscribe from a feed, right-click (or Ctrl-click
for Mac) the bookmark and choose Delete.
