Administrative Lead, K-16 East Bay Collaborative (Temporary) East Bay
The Administrative Lead of K-16 East Bay Collaborative is a leadership position for a $4,000,000 grant from January 2024 to June 30, 2026, with no renewal. This state-funded grant is a collaboration established over 18 months between the Dean of the College of Education and Allied Studies (the Co-PI) and the following partners: San Francisco State, San Jose State, UC Berkeley, Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, Chabot College, Las Positas College, Contra Costa Community College District, San Leandro USD, Oakland USD, and several faculty and administrators on the Cal State East Bay campus. The Administrative Lead will have same level peers at San Francisco State, San Jose State, and UC Berkeley, while they will submit reports to the fiscal agent’s Executive Director at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. The primary duties of the Administrative Lead will be to: build relationships region-wide and campus-wide; directly manage administrative personnel at Cal State East Bay; serve as a lead with administrators across districts; serve as the accountability lead for all grant-funded programs; lead data collection and reporting throughout the east bay region; serve as the primary fiscal and administrative lead for the grant; and seek grants to sustain and extend the mission of the grant.
Sexual Violence Prevention Education & Case Manager (Student Services Professional IV) - Division of Student Life/SAFE Place San Francisco
Under the general supervision of the SAFE Place Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of sexual violence prevention education on campus. Additionally, this position will serve as a bridge to and work closely with the Basic Needs Stability Coordinator to provide services for students experiencing domestic and intimate partner violence locate safe and immediate on and off campus housing. Other partners that this position will work closely with includes the Dean of Students Office, Food+Shelter+Success, Housing, Dining, & Conference Services; Associated Students; First Year Experience Committee; Veteran’s Services, Disability Programs & Resource Center, Career Services & Leadership Development, and the Case Management Team within the Division of Student Life (DOS).The incumbent will facilitate outreach, education, and trainings for the campus community to increase the visibility of the SAFE Place and housing security resources, implement sexual assault prevention, and promote health equity, social justice, cultural humility, and diversity concepts. The incumbent will also provide strategic and holistic case management to any student needing housing, food, or financial support during a crisis that overlaps with SAFE’s mission. The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is looking for a Confidential Administrative Support II. This position will serve as the Executive Assistant providing essential front-line executive administrative support to the Vice President of Student Affairs. It is expected that incumbent will provide professional, friendly assistance to a broad range of inquiries from both on-campus and off campus visitors handling complex, confidential and sensitive issues. Serving as the primary point of contact for the Vice President of Student Affairs, the incumbent works closely with the Student Affairs directors, other Vice Presidents, Associate and Assistant Vice Presidents, the Office of the President, as well as the CSU, Chancellor’s office. In addition, the Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the Vice President with the University’s internal stakeholders (students, staff, faculty and parents) as well as external stakeholders (government agencies, universities and schools, and community organizations and leaders). Essential duties require the incumbent to interpret and apply complex operating policies and procedures, perform research, prepare reports with recommended courses of action, make in-depth analytical studies and inquiries, which may have broad impact, make recommendations for changes in policy or procedures, and handle problems of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
