The California State University, Office of the Chancellor, is seeking an Executive Writing Manager to write and edit communication materials for senior executives in the Chancellor’s Office, most notably the Chancellor, Board Chair and the chiefs of staff of the Executive Office and the Office of the Board of Trustees. These projects include, but are not limited to, speeches, talking points, correspondence, social media, event briefings, presentations, op eds, statements, reports and memos. The Executive Writing Manager will also develop and execute social media strategy. Alongside other members of the Executive Writing team, the Executive Writing Manager ensures accuracy of fact, appropriateness of tone and consistency of message in high-level internal and external communications. This is an essential quality-control function that protects the public image of the California State University. |
