Description: Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in computer or electrical engineering at the assistant or associate professor level, beginning September 1, 2013.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a B.S. degree, preferably in electrical engineering or computer engineering, and a Ph.D. in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or in a closely related discipline with extensive background in computer and electrical engineering.
Some familiarity with the ABET accreditation process is desirable. All areas pertinent to computer and electrical engineering will be considered. The applicants are expected to have excellent academic credentials and a proven ability to teach courses and laboratory sessions effectively, maintaining strong student-faculty interaction.

Teaching Load: Generally, two 5-unit courses per quarter. Almost all courses in the Computer and Electrical Engineering department include a lab/problem solving session. Assigned time for research is generally available during the early years of the appointment.
