Campus Overview
CSU Dominguez Hills reflects
the face of America's future, serving a highly diverse population of more than 12,000
students primarily from the South Bay-south Los Angeles area. For years, CSUDH has
prided itself on its personal service to students, many of whom are first in the
family to earn a college education. Business administration, teacher education,
and nursing are the most popular majors of the 43 undergraduate majors and 23 master's
degrees as well as multiple-subject and single-subject teaching credentials. A new
major in Criminal Justice Administration was added in fall 2005. CSUDH continues
to lead the CSU system in distance-learning initiatives with online M.B.A. and M.P.A.
programs and more. On campus, the new state-of-the-art Loker Student Union broke
ground, due to open in fall 2006. Also, a major expansion to the University Library
promises to double its service area. And, the top-notch sports venue, the Home Depot
Center, is located on campus presenting world-class soccer, tennis, track and field,
and cycling. www.csudh.edu
